Lovely to meet you

Looking for a meaningful experience that brings relaxation, connection and presence through yoga, sound and live music?

As an experienced space holder, ceremonial musician, sound healer and yoga teacher, I support ceremonies, retreats and group experiences with live music, yoga and sound. Using voice, guitar, ngoni, singing bowls and other instruments, I create an atmosphere that invites presence, connection and inner stillness.

My intention is to guide others to meet deeper layers within themselves- through yoga, music - or a combination of both worlds.

I work with:

✓ Retreats and multi-day events
✓ Ceremonies and rituals
✓ Yoga studios and wellness spaces
✓ Festivals and community gatherings
✓ Companies and team events
✓ Private groups and one-on-one sessions

Every session is thoughtfully tailored to the group, the intention and the moment.

Frequently Asked Questions

For what types of events can I book De Yoga Muzikante?

I offer yoga, live music and sound journeys for retreats, ceremonies, festivals, yoga studios, corporate events, private groups and one-on-one sessions. Every gathering is thoughtfully tailored to the audience, setting and intention of the moment.

Can I combine yoga, live music and a sound journey?

Yes. In fact, the combination works really well: yoga opens the body and soothes the nervous system, for an optimal sound journey experience. Together, we explore what best suits your event, retreat or gathering.

What is a Yoga & Sound session?

A Yoga & Sound session combines an accessible yoga practice with live music and sound instruments such as guitar, voice, singing bowls, ngoni, drum and other instruments. This combination supports relaxation, body awareness and a deeper connection with yourself.

What is a sound journey?

In a sound journey you are taken on an immersive musical journey, whilst lying or sitting down. Various instruments such as ngoni, guitar, vocals, koshi bells and singing bowls are used to soften, open, and clear blockages. This often results in deep relaxation, and sometimes an emotional release.

Do participants need experience with yoga or meditation?

No. My sessions are accessible to both beginners and experienced practitioners. The guidance is always adapted to the experience, needs and abilities of the group.

Where are you available?

I am available for events, retreats and sessions throughout the Netherlands. International bookings may also be possible upon request.

What does the collaboration process look like?

We begin with a complimentary introduction call to discuss your wishes, audience and programme. Based on our conversation, I will create a tailored proposal for your event or gathering.

How much does a session or performance cost?

As every request is unique, I work with custom quotes. The investment depends on factors such as location, duration, group size and the type of experience you are looking for. Feel free to get in touch for an introduction call or a personalised quote.

Client Testimonials

"I am Shurandy, and I’ve been working with various plant medicines during group ceremonies for over 10 years.
Marieke has been playing during our ceremonies for more than 4 years now.
Marieke brings a calm and gentle energy through her musical presence. The interplay between her voice and the different instruments she uses creates a soothing field of sound and frequency. Through her presence and intuitive musical guidance, Marieke offers a healing and grounded foundation for the ceremonies."

Shurandy  - Ceremony Leader

""Marieke’s music feels like a conversation between heaven and earth. Each note she plays seems to carry a whisper of the divine — a thread of sound that weaves gently through the soul. Her voice is pure light; it moves through the air like grace itself, reaching places within me that words could never touch. With an intuitive gift for reading the energy of the room, she guides the collective journey with effortless sensitivity, shaping sound into medicine. In her presence, music becomes more than melody — it becomes a sacred vessel for healing, release, and connection. Every time she plays, it feels like coming home to myself."

Matt - Ceremony Participant

"Marieke’s music supported me deeply on my journey through the precision, beauty and dignity I experienced in her work. Even as someone who is not musical and doesn’t actively create music, I am often in awe of its beauty. What touched me most was this precision — it helped me connect more deeply to life and to the underlying structures of how things work and how we relate to one another.

Through Marieke’s music, I could feel something that seemed always present to help and guide us. All I really want to say is thank you, Marieke, for your beautiful work. I truly honor what you create, I see how much dedication has gone into becoming such a fine artist, and I am deeply grateful for what your music opened in me. I hope to hear you live again someday."
