Nice to meet you

I’m curious to know who you are — and perhaps you’re also wondering who I am. That’s why I’d love to share a little more about myself here.

Who am I?

By nature, I’m deeply curious about people. I love to truly listen and discover who someone is beneath the surface.

People often describe me as reliable, down to earth, and a steady presence. At the same time, I’m intuitive, creative, and sensitive. Music, art, and dance are my ways of giving expression to what lives within me.

Always in motion, I step into the world with an open heart and a radiant smile.
Born in the Netherlands — but with a heart without borders.

Who are you?

My story

"Singing and emotion have always been connected for me"

My journey with yoga

As a child, I believed in magic. In my room, away from the rest of the world, I would glady disappear into my own dream world. My voice was my outlet — how I expressed emotion. My parents always knew: if it was quiet, something was wrong.

Singing and emotion have always been connected for me.

But somewhere along the way, I lost that sense of magic.
After earning my Master’s in Art Management, I found myself in a corporate job that led me to Singapore in 2017. There, reluctantly, I attended my very first yoga class at the office. That single experience changed everything.

For the first time since my gymnastics days, I felt truly connected to my body again - and realized how far I had drifted from myself in a way of living that didn’t really suit me.

The turning point

After returning from Asia, encouraged by my experience in Singapore, I began attending yoga classes every week.

Slowly, I started to acknowledge the deep fatigue in my system — and to take it seriously. I decided to change course, quit my corporate job, and take a leap into the unknown.

Yoga taught me to slow down, to reconnect with my creativity, and to trust the wisdom of my body. It brought the sense of magic back — and gave my life a new direction.

Quite literally, because in 2018 I started working at Yoga Moves, the studio where my own practice began.
What once was a place of refuge became my home base in Utrecht.

Since then, yoga has been part of my everyday life, and in 2023 I completed my 200-hour certification in Bhakti Yoga, Vinyasa, and Hatha.

"Yoga taught me to slow down, to reconnect with my creativity, and to trust the wisdom of my body."

"In that moment, I discovered the impact of my voice and realized that my musical path would look very different from what I had imagined."

My journey with music

In 2019, music finally fell into place for me. By that time, I had been playing for years, but performing often felt like stepping into a role. Only in intimate settings — campfire concerts, living room jams — did I feel I could truly be myself as a musician.

In 2019 I was unexpectedly invited to sing during a plant ceremony, and it felt like coming home. In that moment, I discovered the impact of my voice and realized that my musical path would look very different from what I had imagined.

Since then, I’ve been musically guiding ceremonies, both solo and in collaboration with others, while deepening my work in voice liberation and sound healing.\

In 2021, I received my Sound Healing certification — knowledge I now carry into every performance.
And when I completed my Yoga certification in 2023, it felt only natural to bring sound and music into my classes as well.
